This was the prestigious residence of the Buonaccorsi family.
Designed by the architects Giovan Battista Contini and Ludovico Gregorini, it was completed in 1718. Like noble Roman homes it opens out on three sides towards the countryside.
The courtyard, loggia, salons, coffered ceilings and the paintings of mythological subjects found
in the noble apartment confer a magnificent elegance to thebuilding, whose splendor reaches its apex in the Room of Eneide.
The Town Council came into possession of the building in 1967. It houses the Municipal collection
of antique and modern art as well as the Carriage Museum.
